Andrew commenced his career in accountancy in 1989 with JJ Griffin & Co. where he initially trained as a Chartered Certified Accountant. After progressing to the position of Practice Development Manager, Andrew joined Ireland's largest Independent Accountancy Practice in a senior taxation position where he provided a wide range of tax compliance and planning services to corporate entities and high net worth individuals. During this time, Andrew qualified as a member of the Irish Taxation Institute.

In 1997, Andrew commenced his own practice providing accountancy, audit and taxation services to a broad portfolio of owner-managed entities and limited companies. To meet the complexities of professionally servicing a rapidly growing client base, Andrew merged his practice with CGC Associates in 2001. After joining as audit partner, he was elected Managing Partner of the practices in 2003, a position which he still occupies. His principal roles within the Practice involve overall practice management, head of corporate finance, tax planning and new client management.

Andrew has also acted as non executive director to a number of companies including Irish Stock Exchange listed companies. He has also contributed numerous accountancy & taxation articles to the Irish Independent, AIB's Business & Finance and Irish Tax Review. He has also given presentation to business groups and professionals of taxation related activities and is currently serving as an ACCA representative on the CCABI Taxation Committee.
